September always feels like a fresh start, the kids are back at school, routines return and suddenly we find ourselves swapping sandals for cosy socks and craving hot drinks instead of ice lollies.

After weeks of sunshine, a little chaos, our skin, nails and bodies can feel the effects. Dry patches, brittle nails, tired muscles and that post holiday slump are all completely normal but the good news is with the right care you can bounce back feeling fresh, glowing and ready for autumn.

Here is my top end of summer revival guide with treatments and handy tips to carry you into the new season.

Skin Revival – Hydrate, Repair & Glow

Why?

Sun exposure, SPF, sweat and heat can leave skin feeling dehydrated, dull or congested. Even if you have been religious with SPF, the change in weather means skin is now craving hydration and nourishment.

Treatment to try:

A luxury facial will deeply cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate. Think of it as pressing reset for your skin, removing the build up of summer and preparing it for cooler, drier months ahead.

Handy tips for home:

  • Swap your foaming cleanser for a creamier, hydrating one.

  • Add in a serum with hyaluronic acid to boost hydration.

  • Start using a richer night cream as the weather cools.

  • Don’t ditch the SPF even in autumn UV rays are still around!

Nail Rescue – Strengthen & Refresh

Why?

Summer often means extra handwashing, gardening, swimming or simply neglecting our usual nail routine. This can leave nails weak, peeling or brittle.

Treatment to try:

The IBX Nail Repair Treatment is my go to for rebuilding and strengthening damaged nails from the inside out. Pair it with a neat manicure or fresh gel polish for that new term feeling which is not just for the kids.

Handy tips for home:

  • Keep a cuticle oil by your bed or in your handbag and use it daily.

  • Wear gloves for cleaning and gardening.

  • If nails are weak, keep them a little shorter until they are stronger.

Body & Mind to Relax, Release & Reset

Why?

Let’s face it the school holidays are not exactly restful and add in long drives, busy days or just trying to juggle everything, it is no wonder our shoulders feel like they are up by our ears.

Treatments to try:

A Swedish Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage melts away stress and tension or an Indian Head Massage is amazing for clearing the mind, easing headaches and helping with better sleep.

Handy tips for home:

  • Stretch your shoulders and neck daily, even 5 minutes helps.

  • Try Epsom salt baths to relax muscles.

  • Prioritise rest because early nights make all the difference in autumn.

Brows & Lashes – The Easy Morning Boost

Why?

Busy school mornings and darker starts mean makeup routines often go out the window. Having your brows and lashes shaped, tinted or lifted saves precious minutes while still helping you look awake and polished.

Treatments to try:

A lash lift & tint gives you the look of mascara without the effort. A brow tint & shape frames your face and adds instant definition.

Handy tips for home:

  • Use a clear brow gel to keep brows neat between appointments.

  • Apply a lash serum at night if you want to encourage growth.

Final Thought: Your Time, Your Season

Autumn is about slowing down, finding balance and putting some energy back into yourself. It is not about overhauling everything, it is about little resets that make you feel brighter, calmer and more like you - reviving your skin, repairing your nails or taking that rare hour just for yourself with a massage. This is your reminder: you have looked after everyone else this summer now it is your turn.
